Hiring Hall Applications

Thank you for your interest in The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local 99. IATSE #99 is a labor union that enters into collective bargaining agreements with various employers, not an employer.

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories and Canada (IATSE) acknowledges that while we all face barriers to our success, there are those among us who face barriers that are more substantial and entrenched than others. We call upon all to identify, minimize, or erase obstacles that are within our control to make a more equitable pathway to unionism, leadership, and equality.

A diverse organization cannot be established unless current systems of access are enhanced. We must build structures to create equitable access for all, and to truly celebrate diversity. This growth will ensure a stronger union, and together, we will rise!

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
• Applicants must have regular and reliable access to email and text messaging.
• Application must be filled out entirerly.
• Please allow time for office staff to process the application once it has been submitted.
• Submission of application does gaurantee acceptance to the hiring hall.
• Accepted applicants are required to complete Local 99 Orientation prior to any work. Orientation spots are limited and is by invitation only.
• The work received through the hiring hall is considered on-call and temporary. The length of employment and scheduled work varies depending on the specifics of the performance, convention or concert that is being produced by the employer. Due to the nature of live events being gig work, there may be gaps in employment as a result.
