Patrick Santistevan, a referral and friend of Local 99 for many years, passed away on March 8th. Obituary below.
Patrick Santistevan our beloved partner, brother, uncle, and son, 59, passed away suddenly March 8, 2023.
Patrick was born on March 4, 1964, in Walsenburg, Colorado to Caroline Rojas and adopted and raised by Sally and Arthur Santistevan. Patrick was a bigger than life personality that lived by the motto work hard, play hard. He was always ready to help with any projects big or small, and the cost of this would be to listen to hours of his corny jokes and elaborate adventure stories. Patrick’s adventurous spirit took him from the snowy mountain tops of Utah to the coastal waters of Florida, making friends, and creating memories along the way. The absence of Patrick’s big heart, hustle, and larger-than-life personality has left a large void in our lives that will never be filled. Patrick was a big teddy bear on the inside and tough on the outside.
Patrick is survived by his lifelong partner; Christine Rola and children who he treated as his own, mom; Sally Santistevan, siblings; Wayne and Lila Santistevan and family, Angelia Jones and Russel Layne Jensen and family, Juliana Andresen and family, Misty and Clark Rollins and family, and Justin Randolph and Danette Hardy and family and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by mother; Caroline Rojas, brother; Dale White, sister-in-law; Krystal Randolph, sister; Ruth-Ann Cullis, father; Arthur Santistevan and nephews; Tymen White and Robert Santistevan, and like-father; Gordo Shields.
Our hearts are broken to lose him so early, but we are so grateful for every minute we had with him. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2023 from 11:30AM to 1:00PM with a viewing from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Calvery Chapel. Refreshments to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, please send them to Calvery Chapel.
